Amagansett, NY

It wasn't until labor day that I discovered that I my school would be closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah. I decided fairly last minute that I would take advantage of the extra day and head back down to Amagansett to see my sister & her family for one last weekend before they head back to their home in England.  I didn't leave Albany until 7:30 which helped me miss all the traffic,  I got in way too late to see the kids, but had a chance to see my sister.  By 1am I knew I had to get some sleep if I wanted any chance at being able to hang with the little ones.

Saturday AM:
Playtime in the house, pony lessons, dosas for lunch, and watermelon coolers (amazing)

Saturday PM:
Costume trials, Montauk Seafood Festival, (shark bite margarita - as amazing as the watermelon cooler)

Sunday AM:
Long death run, Farmers Market for iced coffees & playtime, my first visit to Clam Bar
PM:  Auto show (firetruck for 15,000!!!), La Fondita, & beach drinks

Monday AM:  Hank's pumpkintown

I had an awesome weekend with my family and it was nice to have just a few extra days of summer. With that, I am officially ready for the school year ( just in time !)
