Adventures in Alaska: Day Nine: Glacier Bay National Park

On our second day of Scenic Crusing, we picked up some rangers for Glacier Bay National Park who provided a lot of information about the area as we explored. It being a bay, the waters were much calmer and the sun had returned.  We spent the day visiting a few of the glaciers taking our time to enjoy them as we were there. The NPS only allows 2-3 cruise ships in per day, and with it being such a huge area, we only saw one other while we were there.

There isn't a lot to say, other than it was beautiful and hard to wrap my head around how massive these glaciers are & how much more land they once covered ages ago.

  1. Glacier Bay National Park is a United state National park. I have selected this as my trip destination now I think its a right option. I have visited it before my boston to washington dc bus tours . The park gives an opportunity to stay at the Glacier Park Lodge. I enjoyed there a plenty of activities like Kayaking, rafting, mountaineering, camping and bird watching etc.. My friends are fully entertained through sport fishing.
