So really it wasn't until this past Sunday that I realized that I am barely adhering to my running plan at all.  Now that I am just about a week away, I think it is time to buckle down and get serious.  Despite not really following the smartcoach plan,  I do feel like I am on the right track for a solid race at the Stockade-athon next month.

Anyhow, here's what my week looked like:

Monday: Treadmill 3 miles @ 10'27 & 45 minute pilates class
(13,808)

Tuesday: Rest
(8,237)

Wednesday: 6 miles @ 10'43.
I was so sleepy and did not want to run.  I was able to force myself out onto the the bike path and shuffle along for the first mile at a 12 minute  pace.  After that  I sort of found a grove, until my calf started to bother me again.  I need to pay more attention to see if it makes a difference with shoes.  Unfortunately  I didn't hit 4 miles within the goal pace.
(17,972)

Thursday: Rest
(6,590)

Friday: Rest
(5,772)

Saturday: Hiked Sawteeth Mountain 14 miles RT.
(35,019)

Sunday: Lazy.

I had 4 "rest" days.  Which I think is 2 too many.  I could definitely stand to be a bit more active on those other days. I need to get into the swing of things with school & life. I've nailed Mondays, now it's time to figure out the rest of the week. I also didn't do a long run this weekend, but hopefully all the hiking I'm doing will help on the alleged hills I've heard of on the race course.
